Despite increased funding and redoubled efforts to reform the system, our nation’s educational system has a troubling statistic facing it. Fourteen states graduate only one half to two-thirds of their high school students. An additional nine states graduate between 67 to 72.9 percent of their students. The law of supply and demand would take care of programs that do not produce.
